Doodling and Crafting for Charities

Over the past few years I have sent contributions to several charities, here are just a few of the acknowledgements! All the charities that I have supported have a very personal connection, or a deeply felt sympathy for their cause, and I have thoroughly relished the opportunities to give a little support, as and when I can.

Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK are extremely personal causes that I have been proud to support. Sending prayers for research to fund a cure in the near future for this disease.

I like to help a range of small animal charities. especially those where I personally know the founders and where I am absolutely sure that funds go solely and directly to the animals who need it most. Here are just a few that I have supported, either by sending funds or by donating crafted items for sale.

The DEC not only supports people in disaster areas, but also helps their companion animals. Through holding online crafting workshops and selling handmade items I have been able to send funds to help where it is vitally needed.

Mitchell's Miracles is well known to me as I was one of Mitchells teachers and visited on several occasions throughout his cancer journey. Sadly his journey came to an end, he will be 'forever seven' The family set up a charity in his name and currently support other families where a child has Neuroblastoma cancer, providing funds to help with much needed transport, heating and other costs relating to help sustain the family through this incredibly challenging time.
