In Memory of Mia

This fundraiser in memory of our little Mia will support Freshfields in Wales. It costs the rescue around £50-£100 to spay a cat, and over the natural life of just one cat and subsequent litters, this can save lives! Just one unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce around 420,000 kittens in just seven years, leading to horrific consequences for the unwanted.

Our Mia lived as a kitten in a feral colony of cats. She was cared for by a lovely lady who sadly passed away, then Freshfields stepped in to support her and her sister whilst they searched for a new home.

Thankfully she was rescued, and enjoyed over a year of being in a safe and comfortable home, loving her life of cuddles with her sister, frolicking in the nearby field, and giving and receiving love in abundance.

We can't rescue them all, we can't give every cat a loving home, but we can stop the endless cycle of misery as a stray.
